Diversity, equity, inclusion, these are the words Nonprofit organizations use as they strive to become more diverse, yet many leaders are uncertain about the steps needed to turn dialogue – and intention – into action. Every nonprofit plays a unique role in tackling societal issues. Empathy can take us outside of everyday realities and allow organizations to see the structural barriers that their clients are facing. With our depth of experiences, strategic thinking, we partner with a wide range of organizations who are advancing social change to design and deliver programs. We identify strategies that can help nonprofit executives, employees and boards to successfully align the organization’s mission. We believe that institutions must prioritize time and strategic use of resources in order to advance equity and close disparities.
We partner with nonprofits to identify and prioritize areas necessary to contribute in accomplishing a collective vision, and we work in relationships to achieve lasting impact. The future of philanthropy has community at its center and is actively modeling empathy, equity and inclusion where collective wisdom is honored, and community knowledge is utilized. We also partner with Foundation leaders to fund critical initiatives and organizations to develop strategies and improve their effectiveness and impact through social change goals.
