Empathy 4 Equity designs customizable training and facilitate discussions to create the foundation and processes for both individual awareness and organizational change. We firmly believe that understanding the aspects of power and racial bias is key in creating a culture, designing systems and implementing policies that align organizations more closely with their mission, vision and values. Prior to implementing training, we work with clients to develop creative ways to reinforce the training so that building a culture of empathy becomes a way of life. The solution isn’t refresher courses and more training. It is embedding the concepts of the training into day-to-day interactions and activities. Thus, being intentionally empathetic every day, when modeled by leaders and managers, is one of the most important elements of creating an inclusive culture. We believe engaging facilitation, and learning environments are a powerful method of individual and organizational transformation.
